Vegetable Kozhukattai – Udupi Ruchi Garam Masala Powder

Ingredients for Poornam

  • Mixed Vegetables                            – 2 Cups
  • Onion                                                 – 1 No
  • Udupi Ruchi Garam Masala           – 2 tsp
  • Coriender leaves                              – 4-5
  • Salt to taste

Ingredients for  Dough

  • Rice Flour                                           – 2 Cups
  • Gingely Oil                                          – 2 tsp
  • Water                                                   – 3 Cups
  • Salt to taste

Method for Poornam

  • Heat oil in a pan add onion and sauté until it turns transparent add boiled vegetables and add Udupi Ruchi Garam Masala Powder, salt, coriander leaves and sauté for a few minutes. Poornam is ready.

Method for Vegetable Kozhukattai

  • In a vessel add water add gingely oil and salt in the water. Once the water starts boiling add the flour stir it well till the continence of chapatti dough.
  • Take a gooseberry size dough with your finger make a small cup out of it and place the Poornam in that close the dough and make it into a modak shape.
  • Grease an idli pan and place the modak in this and steam it.
  • Your Vegetable Kozhukattai is ready.
